Hey there! I'm Lance Phillips of Phillips Pro Painting. After graduating from Iowa State University, I began my professional path navigating through different roles in sales. While juggling sales by day, I found myself diving into home service projects by night. There was something incredibly fulfilling about remodeling interiors – transforming spaces into vibrant, lively areas. The joy and excitement on my clients' faces after completing a project, whether in their cozy homes or bustling offices, sparked a passion in me. That's when I realized it was time to make a significant change. Trading my career in sales for the world of professional painting, I decided to make this newfound passion my full-time pursuit. But let's be real, life's too short not to follow your passion, right?

I'm happily married to my amazing wife, Ashley, for 17 incredible years. Together, we're the proud (and sometimes tired) parents of three awesome boys – Drake, Gauge, and Cruze. Summer days? You'll find me playing the role of Coach Dad, leading the charge on the baseball field. In winter, my focus shifts to the wrestling mats, where I proudly support my boys in their competitive matches. And when we're not at the wrestling tournaments, you'll find me rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and Iowa State football with the same fervor.

When I'm not dedicating my time to coaching young athletes or managing the responsibilities of fatherhood, I'm a bit of a culinary enthusiast. We enjoy hosting parties with our friends and staff and whipping up meals for family and friends. And on those rare days when the stars align and I find some free time? You might catch me sneaking in a round of golf – just don't expect me to go pro anytime soon!

After wrapping up the day's painting tasks, my first priority is to personally connect with each client, making sure they're pleased with our work. As evening approaches and professional commitments give way, I shift into my unwind mode.

I jump into cooking, spending quality moments with our three vibrant dogs, and keeping up with the busy sports schedules of my kids.
